What is BookBuddy?

Welcome to BookBuddy! We're Hannes, Paul, and Chris - three students from the University of Potsdam, working together on project to improve how people discover books.

At BookBuddy, our mission is to create a personalized, user-friendly platform that helps people to explore new genres, authors, and titles based on their individual preferences-and with a natural language interface! We believe that the right book can be transformative, and we're here to make sure everyone finds their perfect read.

We also want to thank OpenLibrary for their book cover database. It is super helpful for small student projects like ours and a great resource for book related information. We encourage everybody to visit their website!
